Anthony John "Uncle" Faville

Faville, Anthony John "Uncle", - of Somers Point, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 11, 2023, four days shy of his 85th birthday.

Born August 15, 1938 Uncle was raised in the Port Richmond section of Philadelphia. He was part of Mother of Divine Grace parish and attended the grade school there. Uncle attended Northeast Catholic High School before enlisting in the US Army where he, in part, was stationed in Germany for two years.

Uncle had many side ventures, such as soft pretzel sales and auto repair. His career was with Teamsters Local 107, proudly driving a tractor trailer for UPS for many years.

In 1976, Uncle bought his home in Somers Point. It was there that he hosted family gatherings with his parents, siblings and nieces and nephews making for many wonderful family memories.

Predeceased by his parents Albert and Grace Faville, brother in law Thomas Recchione, brother Albert Faville, and sister in law Georgine Faville. He is survived by his sisters Josephine Recchione (Thomas) and Eleanor Criswell (Robert) and many nieces and nephews, including Lori and Jerry Bradley, who cared for Uncle for many years.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the life celebration for Uncle on Thursday, August 17, 2023 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. at St. Joseph Church located at 606 Shore Rd in Somers Point, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 a.m. Burial will immediately proceed to Atlantic County Veterans Cemetery in Mays Landing, NJ. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Middleton-Stroble & Zale Funeral Home of Somers Point, NJ.

If desired, friends may make memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
