ANTHONY REALE

REALE, ANTHONY 90 - of Galloway, died peacefully at home with his loving family by his side on Monday May 13, 2013. Anthony grew up on his parent's farm and operated his parent's farm in his early years in Landisville: he started in the vending business after the war and went on to be a food service director for ARA in later years. He supervised the food service at Campbell Soup Co. in Camden and also provided soup recipes for the company. He also operated the food service for the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia. In his later years his passion was gardening learned from his boyhood years on the farm. He knew how to grow a "tomato" and a garden. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1942 to 1946 during World War II, as a Coxswain and gunners mate, he traveled all over the world including Australia, Portugal, Gibraltar, South Africa, Panama Canal and Philippines. He received numerous medals including the distinguish medal, Victory Ribbon and many others. He is predeceased by his wife Anna Reale wife of 64 years. His parents, Sam Reale & Pasquelina Perna. Brothers John Reale, and Frank Reale. He is survived by his son Sam Reale and his wife (Cynthia) and Alexa his only granddaughter that he adored. His brother Mike Reale, Godson Mike Reale, Jr., his sisters Mary Reale, Rosemary Bramdriff, Josephine DeFilittis, and Margaret Klausher and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing Friday 9:30am at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish â€" St. Joseph Church 3rd & French Streets Hammonton, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00am. Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery 5061 Harding Highway Rt. 40 Mays Landing, NJ.
