I was saddened to learn of Audrey's passing through the Rowan Alumni newsletter. We were classmates at Glassboro State and I'd like to think also friends. I loved listening to her play and when I gave my recital (on clarinet) I knew exactly who I wanted to accompany me on the Mozart Clarinet Concerto. Like so many others, we lost track of each other after graduation as we became involved in our busy lives, she returning to AC and me going off to teach in Edison and attend Rutgers and beyond. Working on the clarinet concerto with her was a mutual learning and cooperation experience that I cherished over the years and never forgot.
Rest in eternal peace, dear Audrey.

Mrs. Jones was an excellent music teacher and a great gift to children and parents of North Brunswick schools. Thank you for serving so well. My children, as adults, are still singing songs she taught them--one of their favorites, "Martin, So Important".

Ms. Jones was my elementary school music teacher. TRUE STORY: I joined the orchestra in the third grade. The day after I joined the teacher died in his sleep. In my third grade ignorance I thought my joining the orchestra contributed to his death. Before I could even get my violin I quit and joined choir. Ms. Jones sparked a love of choral singing that led me to Marj Peterson Mottola, Peggy Sica and my professional career. I´ll never forget my beginning, and hope that her end was peaceful and filled with music. Thank you, Ms. Jones.

Ms Jones- thank you for living. For the carts with the keyboards that kids helped lug around the school. For your Scripto-Whipto. This was the intro to gospel soul and jazz music I didn´t realize I was getting at the time. Sometimes we get lucky in life and cross paths with a soul like this one. God bless and safe smooth passage

Ms. Jones was my music teacher all through elementary school. I remember her just as she looked in this photograph, and loved hearing her bang (beautifully) on the piano and teach us songs. Any time I hear a patriotic song I think of her, because she would teach them to us. My heart is with her family and friends.

The incomparable Miss Jones. A dedicated educator through and through. I still remember some of her songs, quirky sense of humor and deadpan delivery. I am thankful that she was part of my childhood over 40 years ago, and I hope that she is singing some of her creative tunes with the angels. Rest In Peace and thank you for the sweet memories.

Ms. Jones, you were a great music teacher. I remember being in 1st grade at Livingston Park and watching you play so quickly on the keys! That´s when I developed my love to play piano. The dedication you had to make the winter concerts exceptional and it was truly an honor to have you as my teacher. May you forever rest in power. You will truly be missed <3.

Im genuinly deeply saddened by Ms. Jones passing. She was easily one of my favorite teachers! She was SO fun, loud lol and energetic! i loved when she would come rolling her keyboard cart in to class on Tuesdays. I also joined chorus which Ms. Jones was organized and operated. She made sure we all learned them lyrics and were on point ! Me and my sisters loved Ms. Jones and im happy to say she has made some great memories for me !
