Basar Schowgurow Obituary



SCHOWGUROW, BASAR, 64, - of Atlantic City, passed away most suddenly on Saturday, April 15, 2006 at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center Mainland Campus in Pomona. Born in Yougoslavia, he was the son of the late Utchur and the late Namie (Djugninov) Schowgurow. Basar was employed by the Caesars Casino and Hotel Resort where he worked as a dealer for 22 years. He is survived by his wife Elzbieta Schowgurow, his step-son Henry Limowski and his wife Kinga, brothers Tomed and Lidge Schowgurow, his sister Nina Cucukov, and several nieces and nephews. He was a loving, caring and devoted husband, father, brother, uncle and friend; he will also be missed by the whole Polish Community of Atlantic City and surrounding area. Relatives and friends are invited to attend viewing on Sunday, April 23, 2006 from 5 to 9 p.m., in the Adams Perfect Funeral Home, Inc., 1650 New Road in Northfield. Funeral Service will be offered on Monday, April 24, 2006 at 10 a.m. in the Funeral Home's chapel. Interment will then follow in the St. Vladimir's Russian Orthodox Cemetery in Jackson. Donations may be made in his memory to the Alcove, 950 Tilton Road, Suite 108, Northfield, NJ 08225.
