CHRISTINE IRELAND-BORINI Obituary
IRELAND-BORINI, CHRISTINE 48 - of Ventnor, passed away suddenly on August 6, 2012, at her home. Chrissy was a lifelong resident of Ventnor, where she volunteered a lot of her time in the community and the schools. She was always there to lend a helping hand and will be missed by many. She is survived by her two sons, Brian and Matt, their father, Chris Ireland, her three siblings; Mary Blessing, Chuck Jeffries, and Terrie Merlino, her father, Albert Borini, her nieces and nephews; Stephanie and Stacy Blessing, Michael Borini, Shannon Jeffries, Ken and Nick Berardis, and the extended Ireland family. She is predeceased by her mother Margaret Ann Borini and her sister Kathleen Trivinia. A viewing will be held on Thursday, August 9th, from 10-11am, at St. John's By the Sea, 6 S. Sacramento Ave., Ventnor, where services will be held at 11am. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the "Ventnor Community Recreation and Education", 6201 Atlantic Ave., Ventnor, NJ 08406. Info and condolences to: www.boakesfuneralhome.com

From the time Chrissy and I became friends I was in awe of her. Somehow she dealt with the crazy experiences and late nights that come with working in the restaurant business and also managed to be such an incredible mother, wife, good friend to everyone and asset to her community. She took it all in stride. Sitting here looking at pictures and remembering all of the laughs we all shared. To her family I am so sorry for your loss. I loved her and feel very fortunate to have known her.

To the Family of my friend Chrissy. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Chrissy and I used to party together as teenagers growing up in Ventnor. We then worked together at The Golden Nugget and at the Boardwalk Bistro in Atlantic City. Oh what a hopeful feeling to see her show up at The Ventnor Seashore Group. She was a very kind woman and her smile and spirit will be missed.

Thank you for your friendship and many years of memories. I will always cherish the good times, and find meaning in the challenging times. My heart is heavy, I have missed you for so long already. I grew up in Ventnor with Chrissy. Years had passed and we reconnected at The Greenhouse. We had such a great time working together. We had a lot in common. Both mother's to boys.
