Concetta "Ventura" Conner

1930 - 2022

CONNER, CONCETTA (Connie) "Ventura" , - 91, of Absecon, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2022 in Absecon, NJ. Connie was a strong 91.5 years old, but if you ask her, she wasn't a day over 21! Connie was born in Atlantic City, NJ on December 6, 1930 to Guiseppe and Antonina (Mormino) Ventura. The grandchildren referred to her as Mom Mom Connie. She also answered to "Connie The Body" which was a nickname she earned and wore well. Throughout Connie's life she made many friends especially during her years living in Shalom House and working on the Atlantic City Boardwalk at Pier 21. Connie was loved by so many. For many years she enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas where she would visit family. She had a passion and love for BINGO and loved the 7's on the reels. She is preceded in death by her brother Anthony Ventura; her granddaughter Amanda Devlin; and her parents. Connie is survived by her sister Mary Pirolli; her four children; Robert Conner (Elisa), Kathy Devlin (David), John Conner (Patty) and Michael Conner (Lynette); her nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and her nieces and nephews. Connie loved and supported her children unconditionally! The family gives a special Thank You to Kathy, Dave and David who were able to care for her until her final days. She will be missed deeply and never forgotten. We will love you forever Xoxo. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
