Connie Sullender Obituary

Connie Sullender

January 23, 1945 - April 24, 2025

Connie Sullender, formerly of Camden County and Ocean City, New Jersey passed away peacefully on April 24, 2025, in Boynton Beach, Florida. She was 80 years old.

Born on January 23, 1945, Connie was known for her warmth, generous heart, and sense of humor. She spent many years in Ocean City, where she and her then-husband, Bill, ran Casablanca, a guest house that became a welcoming spot for visitors and friends alike.

In the second chapter of her life, Connie found deep joy and companionship with her beloved partner, Thomas Griggs. They spent many happy years together with their friends and side by side on the dance floor. Connie's friends became like family, and she was often the person others turned to for advice, comfort, or just to be heard.

She is survived by her beloved son, Eric, of Brookfield, Connecticut, his wife Logan, and their children Nicolas, Isaac, and Nina. She also leaves behind her cherished niece Tina, who was like a daughter to her, and a steady, supportive, loving presence throughout her later years. She is also survived by her sisters Linda and Dawn, and her nieces Jill and Caitlin, who held a special place in her heart. Connie was predeceased by her partner Tom, her former husband Bill, and her brothers Bob and Billy.

Connie's life was full of laughter, love, and the kind of friendships that lasted a lifetime.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

I´m so very sorry to hear of Connie´s passing. I was just asking about her as I hadn´t seen her in quite a while. She was always very sweet. Always made me feel comfortable wherever we were if I felt out of place. I hope her and Tom are together again "Dancin in the Sky". Sending prayers for her family and friends.
