DAVID LONG Obituary
LONG, DAVID W. - passed away surrounded by his loving family on June 5, 2011 following an 18 month battle with cancer. David was born on July 19, 1946. He graduated from Woodbury High School, received a BA degree from Drexel University and a Masters degree from Glassboro State College. David was a resident of Vineland for the past 25 years. He was employed as a sales manager by Wallace Supply Co. and Bridgeton Plumbing. He was a member of the Radiant Panel Association and the Christ Church of South Vineland. Dave enjoyed watching the Phillies, listening to his son play music, traveling to The Homestead Resort in Virginia with his family and especially fishing with his son. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Deborah Ann Wallace of Vineland; a son, Matthew Long of Vineland; brother and sister-in-law, John and Jan Long; sister and brother-in-law, Irene and Shamaues Galloway; his mother-in-law, Gertrude (Watson) Wallace; three brothers-in-law and their wives, Thomas and Paula Wallace; George and Connie Wallace; Bryan and Jeannette Wallace; cousins, Marion and Allen Kleefeld; favorite niece, Megan Kleefeld; many nieces and nephews, cousins; and his friends especially; Susan Medio, Doug Valente, Howard Barth and Frank and Diane Carioti. David is predeceased by his parents Wilbur and Irene Long, a sister Diane Caratura and his father-in-law Thomas W. Wallace Jr. Funeral Home Visitations will be held on Wednesday evening from 7pm to 9pm and Thursday morning 10am to 11am followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00am at Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland, NJ Interment will follow in Siloam Cemetery, Vineland. ARRANGEMENTS are under the supervision of Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland, NJ 08360. Dear Family of David Long,
I was a friend and classmate of David at Woodbury High School class 1964. Our prayers and thoughts go out to you. David had many friends in High School and the world is going to miss his wit and humor. He really had a great personality and was a bellyful of laughs and memories in cruising through life in his younger days. We'll miss him.!!

Dear Family of David Long,
David was my cousin (my mother Dorothy and his father Wilbur were sister and brother). I haven't seen David or met his family since moving to Tucson, Arizona 20 years ago. My sister Marcia Kaselaan has kept me updated from time to time from her visits at your holiday get togethers. She called me last evening to let know of David's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult times. Peace be with you.

Shocking to hear of the death of Dave. I used to talk to Dave almost everyday when I worked for Wheaton and called Bridgeton Plumbing almost every day. . . He was one of my very favorite salespeople that I dealt with, we became friends as well.
My heart goes out to the Long family, my prayers are with you. Dave was a great guy.
