David Madara Obituary
September 28, 1965 - December 29, 2024
David W. Madara, 59, of Mays Landing, passed away on December 29th, after a brief illness. He is survived by his brother Stephen; and many great cousins and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents John W. Madara and Shirley A Madara (nee: Marshall).
He graduated with honors from Stockton College and worked as a Systems Analyst at the FAA Tech Center for the past 38 years.
David was very active in Masonic organizations; a Past Master of Unity Lodge #96 F&AM and Dewey Lodge #226 F&AM, member of Trinity Chapter RAM, Past Grand Master of Triangle Council RSM, Past Commander of Olivet Commandery of Knights Templar; and numerous other affiliates.
He was a lifelong member of the First United Methodist Church and enjoyed the Adult Sunday School.
David was an avid Philadelphia Sports Fan. He also enjoyed music and reading and joining with friends for breakfast and lunch.
A viewing will be held on January 4th from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., at the Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main St., Mays Landing, NJ where a Masonic service will be held at 5:00 p.m., followed by words of comfort from Pastor Linda Ross. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions to the "Main Street Pantry" C/O First United Methodist Church, 6011 Main St., Mays Landing, NJ 08330.

Will miss Dave enormously. We would go to Citizen Bank Park to watch the Phillies.
I knew him from work at the FAA.
He definitely was a wonderful person and would help anyone.
