Deborah Jacob Obituary
Debbie was a practicing psychologist and earned her Psy D. Degree from Widener University, which, at the time was the number one rated Psy D. program in the country. Her practice was independent, but, she worked very closely with her colleagues, Lawrence Clinton, M.D.; Dov Hammer, Psy D.; Howard Hammer, Psy D.; and Luise Gray, Psy D. She believed passionately that, to counsel patients effectively, you needed to impart love to them. She also had a gift to encourage patients to discuss spiritual issues. She truly believed that all of us have a yearning for God, and that none of us finds fulfillment until underlying spiritual issues are explored and discussed.
Family and friends are invited to Debbie's Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at 10:30 a.m at the First United Methodist Church, Second and Pine Streets, Millville, NJ 08332.
Burial will be private for the family. However, friends and former patients are welcome to visit the site of her internment in Mount Pleasant Cemetery. It is the first grave on the left of the main entrance. A bench in her honor has been placed there, so that family and friends can share quiet moments reflecting on a life that was lived on the path that God chose for her.

im actually speechless, she was the very first therapist i saw and noone measured up to her since. She put me on the path to getting things under control. ill never be well, but she sure gave me insight as to what to do. Rest easy Dr. Jacob, you were absolutely the best. Sincerely, Joe
