Dolores H. Tamagnini

1932 - 2022

Tamagnini, Dolores H. (nee McNamara), - 89, of Galloway, New Jersey, went home to be with our Lord on Monday, February 7, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. Born and raised in Jersey City, she lived in Lyndhurst for many years before moving to Brigantine, and Galloway to be with her daughter. She was a long-time parishioner of St. Michael's Church in Lyndhurst and was a member of the Rosary Society. Early on, she worked for Bell Telephone in Manhattan as an Elevator Operator, and later retired from Grobet USA in Carlstadt, NJ. Dolores was preceded in death by her parents, John and Helen McNamara, her brother Frank "Sonny" McNamara, and her husband of over 50 years, Albert J. Tamagnini. Dolores will be sadly missed by her daughter, Denise Tamagnini and fiancé James A. Abate; granddaughters, Alyssa K. Nascimento and Petrina "Trina" De Ment, and great-grandson, Everett. Also, the family dogs, Bella and Marlo will miss her constant attention and many treats. A special thank you goes to Bayada Hospice for the quality care they provided, especially her nurse, Jade.
