ETHEL WEINSTEIN Obituary



WEINSTEIN, ETHEL M. (SNOHA) 87 - of Millville, passed away Sunday evening, November 25, 2012 at the Millville Center. She had been in declining health for many years. She was born in Lansford, PA on July 16, 1925 to Gasper and Ethel (Fabyankovic) Snoha. She was a coal miner's daughter. She came to New Jersey at the age of 16, and lived with her sister Mary in Maplewood until she met, and fell in love with her husband Bernard. They resided in Newark, and had three children, David, Debra and Gary. Thru the years they lived in Lake Parsippany, Toms River and lastly in Millville. When Ethel first moved to NJ, she worked at RCA to send money to her mother. She also worked at USO/10 cent per dance for the service men. She was an avid Phillies fan, and she loved animals, playing BINGO, country music and going to the casinos. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Ethel is predeceased by her parents, Ethel and Gasper Snoha; her husband Bernard; two brothers, Joseph and John Snoha; and three sisters and their spouses, Mary Kucinski, Helen Delpero, and Ann Litwin. Ethel is survived by her children, David and wife Geraldine and children of Little Falls, Debra Robinson and husband Dale of Millville, and Garry and wife Pat of Jackson; two grandchildren, Christopher and wife Nancy Fish of Montclair, and Jackie and husband Joe Congdons of Niskayano, NY; four great grandchildren, Conner, Andrew, Kileigh, and Ryan; her brothers, Steve Snoha of Palm Beach, FL, Andrew Snoha and wife Louise of Summit Hill, PA, Michael Snoha and wife Helen of Spring Hill, FL, and Frank Snoha and wife Anna of Dallas, Oregon; her sister Bernadine and husband John Trubilla of Old Bridge; and her sisters in law, Marsha and husband Allen Morris of Annandale, and Lillian Weinstein Deal of NJ. Ethel was a loving aunt and great aunt to many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews. A special 'thank you' to Ethel's caregivers at the Millville Center and earlier on at Arbors Care Center in Toms River, for taking care of her and making Ethel a part of your life. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. on Friday, November 30, 2012 in the Christy Funeral Home, 11 W. Broad Street, Millville. There will be a viewing on Friday from 1 to 3 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be private in Greenwood Memorial Park, at the convenience of the family. so sorry for your loss , we will miss Ethel very much. She always seemed to put a smile on my face and even though she didnt feel well managed to sing happy birthday to me recently .
