Francesca P. "Fran" Celebre

Celebre, Francesca (Fran) P. (nee Vannucci), - 67, of New Port Ritchie, passed away unexpectedly on January 19, 2022. Fran was born in Rende, Cosenza, Italy. She came to America in 1964, along with her parents, Lando and Rosaria Vannucci and her two siblings in order to pursue a better life. She attended St. Nicholas School and graduated from Oakcrest High School in 1973. She worked at Lenox China for many years and also at Bally's Park Place Casino in Atlantic City, before retiring. In 2010, she and her husband, Santo Celebre, moved to Tampa, Florida to enjoy the sunshine. Fran enjoyed being with her friends and most of all spending time with her miracle granddaughter, Ava Landon Lord. She enjoyed cooking, baking, cleaning, crocheting and loved to travel. She touched many lives and will be remembered for her generosity, warm smile and laughter. Fran will be deeply missed by her husband, Santo Celebre; her daughter, Lisa Maria Lord; her son in law, James; her sister, Marcella Massey (Vannucci); her nephew, Daniel J. Massey; her brother, Joseph Vannucci (Jeanne); and many cousins throughout Italy and France. Francesca's life will be honored with a Catholic Mass at St. Nicholas Church, 525 St. Louis Ave, Egg Harbor City on Saturday, January 29 at 11:00 am followed by a private burial at the Egg Harbor City Cemetery.
