Francis M. McQuillen

90, of Egg Harbor Township, passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2024. He was a proud member of the International Brotherhood of Electricians Union Local 98 in Philadelphia, PA. After retiring, he moved to Egg Harbor Township. He was a gentleman who loved God, his country, and family; he enjoyed model trains, brain teasers, Philadelphia sports teams, and he cherished spending time with his children, grandchildren, and extended family. He was predeceased by his parents Francis and Marguerite McQuillen, his brother Edward McQuillen, his sister Joan Meehan, and his loving friend Rita Fenerty. He is survived by his loving children Francis McQuillen of Ferndale, MI; Janice Havay and husband Michael Havay of Red Bank, NJ; Michael McQuillen of Egg Harbor, NJ; Susan Giannantonio and husband Mark Giannantonio of Northfield, NJ; Dr. Diane McQuillen of Pitman, NJ; Thomas McQuillen and wife Maria McQuillen of Upper Township, NJ; Carol McQuillen of Charles Town, WV; and James McQuillen and wife Melissa McQuillen of Upper Township, NJ; his grandchildren Mark Vincent Giannantonio, Michael Citro Havay, Kellianne Driscoll Havay, Matthew Francis Giannantonio, Adyson Helen McQuillen, Alyssa Theresa McQuillen, Avery Grace McQuillen, and Rylee Stella McQuillen.

A visitation will be held at St. Gianna Beretta Molla Parish Church at 1421 New Road, Northfield, NJ 08225 on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at 9:30 AM, followed by a funeral mass at 11 am. The burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, his family requests that donations be made to veterans charities or the American Cancer Society at www.donate.cancer.org.
