Frank Cavallaro Obituary

Frank Xavier Cavallaro

Frank Xavier Cavallaro, of Ventnor, was born November 11, 1950, and passed away October 2, 2025; and, in between, he enjoyed a life led his own way. He was the son of Peter and Alfia Cavallaro and brother to Maria (Markson), Richard, Lorraine (Blakeman), and Peter. Frank was born and reared in South Philadelphia. At one time, it was said about him, "He may be small, but he's awfully mighty." Frank brought his might to whatever he endeavored. He was a righteous biker, riding his Harley numerous times to Daytona to celebrate Bike Week. He was a superior Angler who was seen regularly at local piers fishing for the coveted striper or his favored tautog. Frank's creativity was fulfilled as he designed and oversaw the building of his dream home at the South Jersey Shore. Frank lived Downbeach and always considered it his real home. He is survived by his beloved partner, Frances, who, together with him, made a whole person. Married 52 years, they shared many adventures, traveling to numerous destinations in the U.S. and abroad. He leaves his brother-in-law, Pasquale Fiore; nephews and nieces, John and Danielle Fiore, Joseph Fiore, James and Elizabeth Fiore, Jennifer (Fiore) and Stephen Cusanno, Audrey Boecklen; grandniece, Caitlin; grandnephews, Joseph, Leo, AJ, Vincent, and Anthony; dear cousin, Frannie Meagher; and nieces, Jennifer, Kristen, and Mara. He was preceded in death by his sisters-in law, Lois Fiore and Sunday Cavallaro, and cousin Dennis Meagher. Frank leaves this world with having experienced the pleasure of many acquaintances and wonderful neighbors. Frank is at peace as he crosses The Bridge to reunite with all his canines. Wherever or whenever he lands, it is with great hope that Frank's new journey will be free from pain and struggle. Donations in Frank's name may be made to the Marine Mammal Stranding Center, Brigantine. Celebrate Frank's life by expressing respect and kindness. Celebrate him by working hard, as he did with everything he pursued. Great appreciation is extended to the Heartland Hospice Staff and especially Frank's Nurse and Aide, whose skills, compassion, and caring impeccably guided him through his journey.

Friends may pay their respects to the family from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Friday, October 10th, at the George H. Wimberg Funeral Home, 1707 New Rd., Linwood. A scattering of Frank's ashes will be private. Condolences may be extended to the family at ghwimberg.com.

Frani, I'm so sorry to hear about your husband, Frank. I'm sending prayers and I wish I could be there with Tom & Bret, but my neuropathy prevents me from traveling far. May God Bless you and your family during these hard times. Al
