Frank John Faralli Jr.

Faralli, Frank John Jr., - 70, of Cape May Court House, NJ, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, February 10, 2023 surrounded by his family. Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Frank and Ruth (nee Ryder) Faralli, Sr., he moved to Cape May County over 30 years ago from Sicklerville. He graduated from Collingswood High School in 1970 and Rutgers University in 1974 and became a registered nurse. Frank served as a lifeguard for the Wildwood Crest Beach Patrol for many years. He was crowned the first Mr. Mature America in Ocean City, NJ in March of 2014 and ran for Congress in 2012. He was an active writer of screenplays and enjoyed photography and singing - he sang at everybody's weddings. Special Olympics was very dear to Frank's heart. He accompanied his daughter Marissa, a world-class sprinter as a Special Olympian, and other athletes to walk the halls of Congress, knocking on doors to help influence the passage of a bill providing $30 million in funding for Special Olympics. He was also very active with The ARC of Cape May County. Frank is survived by his adoring wife of 43 years Maria; his daughter Marissa Faralli; his siblings Carole Holtzapfel (Skip), Mark Thomas Faralli (Parichat), Maryann Severino (Dan), and Florice Long; and many loving cousins, nieces, and nephews. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be private.
