Frank Warfle Obituary

WARFLE, FRANK SR., 77 - of Cumberland, died Monday morning at home after being in failing health. Born in Port Norris he was the son of the late Stacy and Bessie Petitt Warfle, he was a lifelong resident of Maurice River Township. He was a truck driver and drove for Kane Steel Co. for over 25 years, he also drove for Commercial Fuel Company, Cumberland Trucking Company, Hanson Sand Plant, he also owned and operated Warfle's Trucking Company for the last 20 years until his failing health three years ago. He was a Special Police Officer for Maurice River Township and well as the Dog Catcher. Frank was a Deputy Conservation Officer and a Life Member of the Cumberland Fire Company. Surviving are his companion of 30 years, Barbara Charlesworth; children, Frank Warfle, Jr. and his wife Carol, Joyce Prianciani, Dolly "Pebbles" Warfle, and Douglas Warfle, Jr.; his extended family Tom, Lew, & Bob Charlesworth and Nancy Rafine; his sisters, Theresa Baker, Shirley Everland, Anna Hogan, and Dorothy Worly and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son Marvin L. Warfle. Funeral services will be held at the Hoffman Funeral Homes, 643 Main St., Leesburg on Friday December 14, 2007 at 12 noon. Interment will be in Cumberland Methodist Cemetery. Viewings will be held Thursday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday morning from 11 a.m. to 12 noon. Memorial donations may be made to South Jersey Health Care Hospice Care, P.O. Box 160, Bridgeton, NJ 08302.
