Gaily Von Schlichting, 71, of Pleasantville, passed away peacefully at home on October 28, 2024. Gaily was born in Bronx, NY to Edward Von Schlichting and Alice Ciskanik. She attended The Ursuline School in New York and Wheeling College in West Virginia and worked for many years at Absecon Mills in Cologne, NJ before retiring. Gaily is preceded in death by her beloved wife, Susan Haug, and is survived by sisters, Lynne Von Pang and Karen Hursh Graber; brother, Robert; in-laws, Lawrence Graber Steven Pang, and Victoria Von Schlichting; nieces, Rachel Levine and Jessica Hursh; and nephew, Robert Von Schlichting.
A memorial for Gaily will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at Adams Perfect Funeral Homes, Inc. from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Gaily was a sweet, beautiful soul who will be loved and remembered by everyone whose life she touched.
