I have not been in contact with Gary in recent years so the Gary in my mind's eye is the one in a photo I have of him with some of our mutual friends at college taken at a place we called Go Go Lake. Or maybe I mostly remember the Gary that I hung out with after college in the 70s. I can see his out-of-control curls, innocent (not!) twinkle and crooked grin, hear him teasing, calling me by my college nickname and laughing just like it was yesterday (am I getting senile?)
A story Gary told me: When he was a kid, his family had a pet mynah bird named Luther. Being a mynah, Luther vocalized. When things were quiet, Luther was quiet. But when things picked up, Luther would get the spirit and join in--and being a mynah, Luther was LOUD. This was not much help when running the dishwasher, but it sure made for good parties!
My thoughts and prayers are with Gary and those who are sad and miss him. You are not alone.

I'm sorry to hear about Gary's passing. I meet him while in college, and had an enjoyable visit with him in Atlantic City a few months ago. My prayers to all.

I had the pleasure of working with Gary here at the Borgata since before it opened. He was one of my favorite coworkers. Gary was a funny guy who made us laugh often. My heart goes out to his friends and family. I'm so sorry for your loss.
