Helen Concetta Gitto, 95, passed away peacefully on August 3, 2024.
Born in Philadelphia, PA on November 14, 1928, she resided most of her life in the Atlantic City area.
Helen was predeceased by her father and mother, Ettore and Florence Foschini (nee DiOrio); husband, Joseph P. Gitto; three brothers and five sisters.
She is survived by her three children, Concetta, Joseph (Debra), and Bruce Gitto; and her two grandsons, Gianni and Dominic Gitto.
A special thanks to all of the Meadowview Nursing staff who loved and cared for her over the past few years and her doctor, Dr. Al Curnow.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, August 9, at 11 a.m. at the Saint Michael's Church, 10 N. Mississippi Ave., Atlantic City, NJ, where friends will be received at 9 to 10 a.m. Parking available in rear of Church off Georgia Avenue.

So Sorry to hear of this beautiful ladies passing, I enjoyed my time with her although it wasn´t long, she gives me memories of dancing around the room without a care in the world. Reminds me not to sweat the little stuff in life. She was a pure joy.

I worked with Helen wayyyy back in the original Golden Nugget days. Though I haven't seen her in 40 years, I still remember her smile and sweetness. I am happy that she lived a long life.
