Herman Menth Obituary

Menth, Herman George, - 73, of Egg Harbor Township, passed away at Shore Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, May 10th surrounded by family. He was born on December 17, 1948 in Chicago, Illinois and spent most of his life in Atlantic City. He met and married his wife, Gail, on July 7, 1973. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and spent most of his life working in the meat-cutting business. He will be deeply missed by his devoted wife, Gail Ann Menth (née Elbertson), his sons, Herman Menth Jr. and Shawn (Myrna) Menth, his dear sister, Catherine (Ron) Myers, and his brother, Edward Hopkins. He also leaves behind his grandsons: Austin and Tristan (Herman) and Liam and Luke (Shawn). A viewing will be held on Saturday, May 14th from 12 noon until 1pm, followed by a service beginning at 1pm, at the George H. Wimberg Funeral Home, 1707 New Rd., Linwood. Burial at Atlantic County Veterans Cemetery, Mays Landing. Condolences may be extended to the family at ghwimberg.com.
