JANICE ELLEN MEDICA

MEDICA, JANICE ELLEN 66 - of Somers Point, passed away peacefully on Tuesday April 26, 2011, surrounded by her family. She was retired from Mainland Regional High School where she worked as the School Nurse for 25 years. Daughter of the late George and Dorothy Meagher, she is survived by John Medica, her husband of 43 years, her three sons, Joseph Medica and his wife Darcy, Peter Medica and his wife Jae Anne and Daniel Medica and his wife Tammy, and five grandchildren - Brittany, Joseph IV, Michael, Jacob and Aidan. She is also survived by three sisters, Barbara Meade of Linwood, Shirley Pfirman and her husband David of Crisfield, MD and Patti Walker of Upper Southampton, PA, and a brother George Meagher, Jr and his wife Lynne of Melbourne, FL. She and John had many canine companions, most recently Zach and Riley. Janice loved to watch the Eagles, Flyers and Phillies games and loved to play card games. She enjoyed taking cruises and traveling all over with John in their RV. A memorial service will be held at Adams-Perfect Funeral Homes,1650 New Road, Northfield, NJ, on Monday, May 2nd at 11 AM with visitation starting at 10 AM.
