Jeanette C. Mangano

Mangano, Jeanette C., - 92, of Ventnor, passed away peacefully at her home on December 21, 2022. Jeanette was born in Atlantic City, NJ to Anthony and Agnes Ordile on August 13, 1930. She grew up in Atlantic City and graduated from Atlantic City High School in 1947. Jeanette married Joseph Mangano (deceased 2013) also of Atlantic City in February 1952. Jeanette was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a former member of the Atlantic City Community Concerts Association and former Treasurer and President of the Ventnor Cultural Arts Center. Her joy was cooking and caring for her family, especially at Christmas, and traveling to Europe with her husband and cousins Joe and Sally Ordile. Jeanette was predeceased by her parents, her husband and her brother, Joseph Ordile. She is survived by her sister Marie Andaloro, her son Charles (Janet), of Short Hills, daughter Frances Mangano Miller (Dave), of Margate City, son John (Patricia), of Pineville, NC, and son Rich (Lori), of Ventnor City, nine grandchildren Mark (Dawn), Andrew (Yi), Adam Miller (Kim), Nick Miller (Rida), Maria Delasotta (Matt), Jeanette Cartafalsa (Rob), Dan, Emma, Sara and ten great granddaughters-Mackenzie, Charlotte, Chiara, Lucy, Josefina, Alice, Gemma, Adalyn, Alessia and Gia. The family would like to express their gratitude to the "angels" who helped us the last few years-Ana, Cathy, Cynthia, and the special staff from Holy Redeemer. A viewing will be held at the Saint Michael's Roman Catholic Church, 10 North Mississippi Ave, Atlantic City on Thursday, December 29th at 10 am, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 5061 Harding Highway, Mays Landing. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to support Holy Redeemer Hospice at 6550 Delilah Road, Building 500, Suite 501, Egg Harbor Township, NJ 08234.
