To the family,
I send my deepest sympathy to you. I saw the pain in your faces each day that you sat at your mother's bedside at Manor Care (my grandmother was in the next room). I was saddened when I came back after lunch to see her bed empty. The God we serve is all knowing and He knew that your mom was tired and needed rest. She now has her glorified body in heaven and is rejoicing with the angels that she has finally made it to her permanent home in glory.
Take comfort in the words of John 14:1-6, "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going." Jesus the Way to the Father
Thomas said to him, "Lord, we don't know where you are going, so how can we know the way?" Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
God bless you and keep your precious memories alive with remembering the special times you had with your mother.
