Molina-Colmenares, Jessica, - 19, of Egg Harbor Township, passed away unexpectedly in a tragic car accident on the evening of July 15, 2023. Jessica was born in Somers Point, New Jersey on April 6, 2004 to parents Rocio Colmenares and Erick E. Molina. There are not enough words to describe who she was. The first thing you would notice about her was the beautiful smile she wore proudly and confidently on her face. Her smile would light up an entire room. Jessica was deeply loved and brought immense happiness to those around her. Her family and friends knew her as a gentle, kind, sweet, caring, funny, intelligent and truly amazing young woman. Jessica was a very dedicated athlete and started playing soccer at the age of 10, she enjoyed playing midfield. An amazing quality she had was her willingness and determination to always try something new. She would push herself to be the best and she never failed at mastering a skill in a short amount of time. During her senior year in high school she scored a goal within 30 seconds after the game started. She graduated high school in 2022 and was remembered by her teachers as a bright light. She was a student at Rutgers University and had just finished her first year as a nursing student. She wanted to see the world and help people which is why she aspired to be a traveling nurse. She loved listening to music, dancing, singing karaoke and watching movies. Jessica loved to travel and had a passion for fashion & makeup. She would spend hours finding just the perfect outfit. Her favorite time of the year was summer and spent every opportunity at the beach. She loved to binge watch tv shows, read poetry, and books as well. Most of all, she cherished her memories with her loved ones. You would see her taking pictures on her vintage camera every chance she had. She is survived by her parents; her brother, John Molina, her sister Erika Gardner (Molina-Colmenares) and husband Tyler. Her maternal Aunt Sylvia Colmenares-Leon, her husband Enrique Herrera, and their children Camila Herrera and Daniel Herrera as well as numerous family members in Mexico and El-Salvador. She is pre-deceased by her maternal grandmother Esperanza Sylvia Leon Zarate, her paternal grandmother Maria Lucia Molina, and maternal uncle Isaias Colmenares Leon. She was an active member of the Catholic Church and participated in different activities throughout her life. She was loved by so many in the community and we have received so much support from everyone. We want to personally thank all the people who were a part of her life. Jessica was an angel and will be missed by all.

The viewing hours will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday July 22, 2023 at Adams Perfect Funeral Home 1650 New Road Northfield, NJ 08225. Following the viewing a funeral mass will be held at St. Gianna Beretta Mola Parish Northfield, NJ at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Laurel Memorial Park Cemetery.
