Jody Villareal

1968 - 2021

Villareal, Jody, - 52, of a long time resident of Atlantic City, passed away February 7, 2021. Jody enjoyed spending his days on the beach and walking the boardwalk, beginning at an early age. He loved to read and was an avid reader of history and suspense novels. His favorite foods included french-fries and Whoppers from Burger King. He was very proud of his Jewish heritage and often reminisced about his trip to Israel with his schoolmates from The Hebrew Academy. Jody was a beloved brother and uncle who will be missed tremendously. He was a kind, humble, and modest man, who spent most of his life coping with a severe mental illness. Jody persisted, and never complained of his troubles. He will be remembered by his friends and family as a patient, gentle, and caring man. Jody is survived by his sisters, Cheryl Brunette, Jacqueline Grebos and Marsha Spickelmier; his nieces, Jordan, Rachel, Barbara, and Meagan; and his nephews, Baldomero and Jason.
