I was so shocked and saddened by this news. Joey and I go back decades also! He basically convinced us to move to Islamorada. Joe Picked me up at the airport 8/5/2007. We worked together and certainly played together. I know he is in heaven but he adored his family and will always me missed. Gone too soon. Sincerely sorry to your entire family!

I was deeply saddened to read of "Joey's" passing. I was his teacher at ACHS..He was such an outgoing and friendly boy.I had not seen him for many, many years..and a few years back...I ran into him at a casino show..I am glad that I got to hug him..My condolences to his family..

Tim Laielli, my husband, and Joey grew up together in Brigantine. In the last five years, they reconnected after many decades apart and attended a Phillies game together in Clearwater.
