Dear Cleary family:
I knew Joe for 40 years. He was the best friend I ever had in the pump business and he will truly be missed by all. I got to speak to Joe in late January, right after he was released from the hospital and he pretty much told me that our phone conversation would be the last one we would ever have and we told each other how we felt about our close relationship as friends through the years. I was very sad after that phone conversation, and prayed for Joe and all of you. God Bless you all, and I know Joe is up there playing 18 holes and enjoying every minute of it.

Dear Maggie,Jerry & Cleary Family,
Betty Anne and I were very sad to hear about your dad. He was a very nice man and will no doubt be very missed by you and anyone else who was able to meet him. Anytime I saw him, he always had a smile. It was always nice to see him at our Lions golf outing every spring down the shore. Please know that we are thinking of you and praying for your family.

Dear Clearys: Sorry to hear about your father. I so much enjoyed anytime I spent with him, especially when my mother and Mary Liz rented the house at Ocean City for those few summers. I have fond memories of home made succotash, microwave nachos, tons of laughing and cursing when the fuses would blow when we were all using our hair dryers. I also have to chuckle because I think Mr. cleary is having a good old time with my Mom and Dad looking at all of us and saying what a bunch. My prayers and thoughts are with you. Joe, Maggie,and the entire McGrath/Cleary families, I am truely sorry for the loss of you dad, granddad. I always enjoyed chatting with him at the many family get togethers. Amazingly he always remembered who I was. At least we all know that he is home with the Lord and the many loved ones who went before him. Our prayers will remain for each of you.

I was truly saddened at hearing of Joes passing. I worked with Joe for years at Chempump. He was a great co-worker and always spoke with love of his family...He will surely be missed. My thoughts and prayers to the family.

I met Joe thru work; and when he retired and moved to OCNJ, he was down the street from my summer home. Many times I'd walk the dog down to his place on Haven and sit in his kitchen talking golf. He was a wonderful guy and everyone will miss him greatly.
