JOSEPH A. FOGLIO

FOGLIO, JOSEPH A. 82 - of Ocean City, died December 29, 2009 at 6:45 in his home at 1919 Haven Avenue, Ocean City. Born in Ocean City, he was a resident for 82 years. He was a Navy Veteran of World War II. He was an Abbotts Milk Man for several years, then becoming an Ocean City Police Officer before retiring from the Electrical Department for the City of Ocean City. Survived by his wife of 35 years, Phyllis, two daughters, Twila Petro (Joe) of Woodbine, NJ, Madelaine Miller (Dean) of Egg Harbor Township, son, Billy Foglio (fiance Nicole Vazquez) of Washington Township, step children, Kathy Caraballo (Rich) of Dennisville, Debbie Lenzsch (Tom) of Somers Point, Donna Calise of Ocean City. Also surviving are his brother, Frank Foglio of Wilmington, DE and sister, Filomena Ferrizzolli of New York. Mr. Foglio is predeceased by his sons, Jimmy and Joe Foglio, daughter, Melanie Creamer and step son Paul Allegretto and sister, Angie Schmid. Mr. Foglio leaves behind 17 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Friends may call Sunday evening, January 3, 2010 from seven o'clock until nine o'clock at The Godfrey Funeral Home of Palermo, 644 South Shore Road, Palermo, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Monday morning at 10 o'clock from St. Augustine's R. C. Church, 13th Street at Wesley Avenue, Ocean City, NJ. Burial will follow mass in Seaside Cemetery, Palermo, NJ. The family suggests those who desire send memorial contributions to the charity of one's choice.
