Lillian D'Alonzo

1928 - 2023

D'Alonzo, Lillian, - 95, of Egg Harbor Township, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Oct 25, 2023. Born July 8, 1928 to Jessie and Lillie Mae Rankin in Bargaintown, Egg Harbor Township, NJ, Lil was married to her high school sweetheart, Frank D'Alonzo, Sr., until his passing in 1995. She was retired from her position as Director of Patient Services for Atlantic County's Stillwater facility. Lil is survived by her son, Frank D'Alonzo, Jr.. daughter-in-law Nikki, and grandson Michael. She is also survived by her daughter and long-time caregiver Kathleen Anne D'Alonzo, and grandchildren Stephanie Odohofre and Thomas Juckett, as well as her four grandchildren, Conner, Camy, David and Jax. Lil performed as a child star at the Steel Pier and was a member of the New Jersey State Choir as a teenager. She was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan and a devout Roman Catholic. She traveled the world with her husband Frank, and together they visited six of the seven continents. The family would like to thank the wonderful folks at Angelic Hospice, particularly Michelle, Tiffany and Kristi, and a special thanks to her caregiver, Michelle P. Lillian will be missed for her wry sense of humor and her generous spirit. Arrangements are entrusted to Adams-Perfect Funeral Homes, Inc. in Northfield, NJ.

A visitation will begin at 10 a.m. with a requiem mass to be said for Lillian at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Linwood, N.J., at 11 a.m., Monday, Oct 30, 2023. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.adams-perfect.com.
