Linda Ward Obituary

Linda Louise (Grubb) Ward

March 24, 1946 - October 31, 2024

Linda was born in Summers Point, NJ to the late Robert and Helen Grubb. She was the oldest of 5 children and would often share memories of the antics they shared growing up.

Linda married Wayne Ward on April 11, 1964, and three children were born to this union, Renee, David, and Erin. In 1965 she gave her life to Jesus Christ and spent the remaining years serving him in whatever he led her to do.

Linda loved to read and study her bible, praying for and others, spending time with the family, traveling laughing, always with a smile on her face.

She was a loving and caring person, devoted wife, mother and friend, always thinking of others first. To know her was to love her.

Linda leaves to cherish her loving memory, her husband of over 60 years, Wayne, her children Renee, David, and Erin, her brothers Bob and Bill, her sisters Phyllis and Caroline, seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, and many friends.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 25th, 2025 in Linwood Community Church in Linwood, NJ. Fellowship to follow.
