Lisa Nagle Obituary

Lisa Beth Newman Nagle

Lisa Beth Nagle (née Newman), born July 11, 1965, in Somers Point, N.J., passed away peacefully at home, surrounded not by people, but by love. She was 59 years old.

Lisa is survived by her life partner and best friend, Michael Nagle, and their beloved daughters, Brittany Nagle and Chelsea Nagle, who were the center of her world. She also leaves behind her loving mother, Maureen Ellingham; her sister, Lois Kelly, and brother-in-law, Jim Kelly; her adored nieces and nephews; and extended family in both England and Australia, all of whom held a special place in her heart.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Newman; her grandmother, Evelyn Ellingham; and her grandfather, George Ellingham.

Lisa graduated from Mainland High School in 1983 and began her working life alongside her father at Acme Markets, a time she always held dear. Her caring nature and lively spirit continued to shine throughout her years working in the deli at Santori's, where she became known not only for her hard work but for her warm heart and contagious laugh.

A devoted and involved mother, Lisa poured her heart into her daughters' lives. Whether leading Girl Scout troops, cheering on the sidelines at games, or supporting cheerleading competitions, she was a constant, loving presence who made every moment special. Her girls always knew, no matter what, she was right there, cheering them on.

Lisa found joy in the simple pleasures, boardwalk strolls, pool days, family barbecues, and anything that brought people together. Her home was always filled with music, laughter, and love. She danced, she sang, and she made sure everyone felt welcome and seen. When Lisa walked into a room, her energy filled it completely.

Later in life, Lisa fought and overcame stage four vocal cord cancer, a battle she met with incredible courage. Though she lost her physical voice, her spirit only grew louder. She remained cancer-free and a true fighter until her final days.

Lisa Beth Nagle was the heart of her family, a cherished friend, and a radiant light to everyone who knew her. Her legacy of love, strength, and celebration will live on in every song played, every laugh shared, and every moment of joy.

Services will be held on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home in Northfield, N.J. Visitation begins at 10 a.m., with services starting at 11 a.m. Interment private and at the convenience of the family.

In honor of Lisa, play the music loud, dance freely, and love each other deeply, just as she always did.
