Dear Joseph Pyle & Pyle/Hendrickson/Rigler Families,
I want to extend my deepest sympathy on your loss of Mary who I always referred to as Grandmom when Joe and I would correspond back and forth. Many members of the Whelan/Boyd/Hawthorne/Mcdevitt/Gerini familes also express their sympathy.
I , loved Mary for her kind, loving and understanding ways. When Mary told me stories of family things she could remember for some reason they always had a way of making me laugh. What I loved best was that she was a very honest and truthful person, a trait that in some of today's standards is hard to come by.
Mary, didn't add nor did she take away or hide any information in the stories of her childhood days or family history to make it beneficial for her or the person she was speaking too. I once said to her "so it is what it is" and her reply to me was " it is what it was and to my memory still is". God I loved her spirit and I will miss her and her great big smile along with her gentile little laugh. I will keep her in my prayers along with all of you so that the pain of her sudden loss will be eased by knowing she is now in a much better place. Know this if nothing else, that you ALL now have a VERY SPECIAL ANGEL to watch over you.
Joe, I realize how much you loved and cherished your grandmother and I hope you know that she also knew how much you loved and appreciated her long before her passing.
With Love & Deepest Sympathy,
Margaret McDevitt-Gerini & Family
