Mary Squiccimara Obituary

Mary D. Squiccimara

June 22, 1952 - August 18, 2024

Mary was a beloved daughter, sister to four brothers; Michael, Steve, Daniel and Mark, mother to two sons and a daughter; Anthony, Gina and Louis and grandmother to two grandsons and a granddaughter; Angelo, Theo and Sophia. The world was blessed to have Mary walk its beaches and cast her bright shadow upon its waves. The rising suns will no longer be as bright as they once were. Mary was a proud nurse and a gifted caregiver for patients and patients families in their harder darker days. Mary was also the dear good friend any person would desire to have- and she was a dear good friend to many. Mary's house was always the place her children's friends wanted to be because of who she was as a mom and a person. That home warmed the lives of many and it will continue to warm hearts to all whom reside within it until the house no longer remains. Mary was the light that touched many lives and she will be sorely missed. 22nd of June 1952 to 18th of August 2024.

My moon sister ,Mary first met as nurses in Ocean City 2008. She had a gentle kindness that eased everyone´s spirits ; and nursing skills that were admirable.
Mary would be there for those in need at a drop of a hat , with a twinkle in her eyes and smile that melted away any fears one might have.
She knew just what or what not to say or do by her maternal instinct and education of life .
We would go to the beach and picnic to celebrate our shared birthdays for 16 years.
Her children and "grans" were her heart and she loved to tell her stories about them and also her extended family.
I will always celebrate her on full moons and beach walks .
Shine on sister love!
