Hi Mike:

Just a short note to let you know how much you are thought of. I missed seeing your smiling face at Tommy's wedding, your laughter, your jokes, all the things that were so much a part of you. When I am at the shore on a beautuful day I think of how much you & Duke would be enjoying it. You made such a big impact on all who met you. You must of been so proud of Justin and how he brought us to laughter & tears when he spoke of you. Keep an eye on Duke & tell him to behave and that I send him my love.

God Bless!
Maddy

To the Gill family and friends,
I am so sorry and saddened to hear of Mike's passing. I went to North Catholic H.S. and graduated with Mike. He was a good student and a great friend. We had our Class reunion on Friday 4-4-08 and I was looking over the obituaries of our class. We'll have another name to add to the list of many friends who have left us. We will all meet again. Fabrilio my friend!

To all of Mike's family, Judy and her childern:

Mike was such a wonderful, caring, loving person. He meant alot to my grandparents Bill and Dolly (and the rest of our family) and was a tremendous arm of strength through all of our family's tragedies over the years. He will surely be missed especially at the Fishing Club. Hopefully it brings you peace to know that he is free of pain and is now with his mom and dad. I am sure my grandfather was also there with open arms to welcome him home.

It was a pleasure to know Uncle Mike. He was a gentle, fun and loving person. He enjoyed life and those around him. Uncle Mike wanted to live and told me in our last converstation that he was going to get better and was looking forward to summer gatherings at his house. I was looking forward to the same. Many hearts are broken and many of us still can't believe he is really gone. Everyone who knew him loved him. oxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo

To the Gill and Davis Families:

I am so saddened to hear of Mike's passing. He had a heart like no other person I have known. And such an enormous capacity to love.
He was so proud of his family and loved being a part of it. Mike & Sharon had such a unique relationship, it made me wish I had had a brother. When his Aunt Eileen & I went to Ireland, the whole trip we kept saying how much Michael would love it. Especially the bars named"Murphy's". He never missed an opportunity when we were together to talk of a memory of Duke and have me laughing by the end of the story. Then he would say, if you need anything just ask because that was the person he was. Michael is now free of pain and watching and praying for all of you. Be strong for that is what he would want. Take care of one another as he did to all of you. And even though he was taken so soon, we know he did really enjoy living life to the fullest. He enjoyed his home at the shore and his hosting of so many great parties. He has touched all of us and we will forever have that. He will be remebered always with a smile and a prayer.
