Michael Siracusa Obituary

Michael Siracusa

August 11, 1952 - February 20, 2025

Michael David Siracusa, 72, of Margate City, NJ, was pronounced dead of heart failure on Thursday February 20, 2025. Born in Atlantic City, Michael was the loving son of the late John and Stacey Siracusa. Michael is survived by his siblings, Lynne, Gene, Jamie, and Kit; and by his many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Michael was a graduate of Atlantic City High School. In his younger years, Michael surfed with his buddies; later he became a member of the Margate Log Cabin, played golf and enjoyed fishing. Michael worked in construction for most of his life. Michael spent many years in Florida before returning to Atlantic City to care for our beloved father before he died. Michael will be remembered by his family as being a quiet, caring and kind man. Although he kept to himself, Michael was known as being gentle, considerate, and well-liked by everyone. The family will be having a private service. Donations may be made to the American Heart Association at www.heart.org. To leave condolences, pay respects or share a special memory of Michael please go to www.LifeCelebration.com. Services entrusted to Jeffries and Keates Funeral Home 609-646-3400.

I can still see his Siracusa smile and hear his laughter. Even after all of the years. He was part of an incredible family.

We grew up next door to the Siracusa´s on Thurlow avenue. A fond memory of Michael was when he decided he was going teach me how to ride a 2 wheeler. It was going good until I went into a tree. Also I really respected him when he came home from Florida to take care of his Dad, he was a special person.

Michael was a great guy and I am proud to be his friend.
The last time Tequila passed my lips was a nite in July 1972. Michael and I shared a bottle of salt, shots & lime. Upon completion we somehow decided that another bottle was a good idea. That's why I can't remember what day in July my abstinence began! Hippo John Gallagher
