Michelle Scott Obituary

Michelle Scott

May 20, 1969 - February 23, 2025

Michelle A. Scott, 55, passed away on February 23, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. Born on May 20, 1969, in Rahway, NJ, Michelle grew up in New Jersey and graduated from Southern Regional High School.

In 1995, Michelle married the love of her life, Stephen A. Scott Sr., and together they built a life filled with love and devotion. She was a generous and compassionate woman who always put others before herself. Her greatest joy came from being surrounded by family and friends, creating a home filled with warmth, laughter, and home-cooked meals. As painful as it is to say goodbye to a wonderful woman, a beautiful wife, a loving mother and an unforgettable "Gigi", you will never be forgotten & will forever be missed.

Michelle cherished the simple pleasures in life-playing with her loyal dog Coco, celebrating holidays with family, watching her grandchildren grow, and sharing conversations with those she held dear. She loved spending summers at the beach with her large blended family and traveling to Florida and Myrtle Beach, SC, where she eventually made her home.

She was predeceased by her parents, George and Patricia; and her brother George. She is survived by her beloved husband, Stephen; her children, David Bennett (Samantha), Stephen Jr., and Heather Scott; her grandchildren, Aahna, Alan (Michelle), Alaina, Alivia (Caden), Jacob, Aimee, and Mia Bella; great-grandchildren Emmett and Mackenzie; her loving brother John Kinasczuk; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Though saying goodbye is painful, Michelle's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

To the Scott Family,
My deepest heartfelt condolences to you all in this time of sadness. I had the privilege to know Michelle from our exercise class through David´s Dream & Believe. Michelle was so supportive to me during my cancer journey and always cheering me on during our workouts. She was so compassionate and always concerned for others despite navigating her own health issues. She loved her family fiercely and always talked about them or showed me pictures. She was the best and I´m thankful our paths crossed and we became friends. May she rest in peace until we meet again. I´m at peace knowing she´s no longer suffering or struggling.
