MIRIAM PATTERSON Obituary

PATTERSON, MIRIAM L. (nee Lashley) 85 - of Mays Landing, passed away on September 3, 2009. Born in Minotola, she was a lifelong area resident. Miriam worked for the Atlantic County Extension Service for 40 years. During her leisure time, she was an avid Rock Hound and a member of the Cape-Atlantic Rock Hounds. She also enjoyed genealogy and the preservation of history, and was a member of the Township of Hamilton Historical Society. She will always be remembered by her beloved husband of 64 years, William M.; two daughters: Connie Reynolds (Arthur) and Patricia Mayhew (Jay); four grandchildren; Jennifer, William (Melody), Jessica (Mark), and Kate; and two great-grandsons: Patrick and Griffin; her brother Myron Lashley (Blanche); and numerous other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly. A memorial service will be held on Monday, 11am, at the Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main St., Mays Landing, where friends may gather from 10am until the time of the service. Bill and family,
Miriam will be sadly missed. We worked together several times at the Historical Society. I was always so fond of her and all she knew about the area. I will miss seeing her at Hist. Soc. when I visit. It just won't be the same. God Bless.
