MIRIAM L. PATTERSON

PATTERSON, MIRIAM L. (nee Lashley) 85 - of Mays Landing, passed away on September 3, 2009. Born in Minotola, she was a lifelong area resident. Miriam worked for the Atlantic County Extension Service for 40 years. During her leisure time, she was an avid Rock Hound and a member of the Cape-Atlantic Rock Hounds. She also enjoyed genealogy and the preservation of history, and was a member of the Township of Hamilton Historical Society. She will always be remembered by her beloved husband of 64 years, William M.; two daughters: Connie Reynolds (Arthur) and Patricia Mayhew (Jay); four grandchildren; Jennifer, William (Melody), Jessica (Mark), and Kate; and two great-grandsons: Patrick and Griffin; her brother Myron Lashley (Blanche); and numerous other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly. A memorial service will be held on Monday, 11am, at the Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main St., Mays Landing, where friends may gather from 10am until the time of the service.
