Patricia Amedio Obituary

Amedio, Patricia A., - 84, of Lady Lake , passed away on November 28, 2022 after a prolonged illness with Parkinson's Disease. She was born in Pomona and lived most of her life in Hammonton and most recently in Lady Lake, Florida. She loved playing cards at the Canoe Club and Senior Center and was a member of the Red Hat Society. She also was an avid reader and loved to paint which earned her several ribbons for her talent. She is predeceased by her husband Andrew (Henry) Amedio of 59 years, her daughter Patricia Haines, her son-in-law George Haines, her sister Gertrude Johnson and her brother Lenard Schleyer. Patricia is survived by her daughter, Kathleen (Amedio) Smick and her husband Kevin of Florida, her grandchildren Matt Smick of Texas, Marc Smick (wife Allison) of New Hampshire and her great-grandchildren Lily, Logan, Nora and Samuel Smick. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2022, 11:00 am at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton, where a viewing will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Burial will follow in Germania Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Patricia's memory to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research. (www.carnesalefuneralhome.com)
