Patricia Giegerich Obituary

Camp Giegerich, Patricia, - 85, of Ventnor, and Seville, Spain, passed away in Philadelphia on June 13th, 2022. Born May 27th, 1937, in Atlantic City, NJ, she lived in Ventnor, NJ, Cleveland, OH, Alexandria, VA, and Seville, Spain. She was a graduate of Holy Spirit High School, Rowan University, and held masters degrees from both Case Western Reserve University and Georgetown University. She was a lifelong educator, including as an elementary school teacher, school librarian, high school ESL teacher (English as a Second Language), and in her retirement tutored ESL in Seville. Survivors include sons Paul Giegerich, Gary Giegerich (Diana Paterno), and Steven Giegerich (Daniel Chauzy), her sisters Jane ("Jinx") Hartwig and Gail Gammon, and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Alfred and Laverna Camp. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to The Michael J. Fox Parkinson's Foundation or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 5th, from 11am-12pm, followed by a service at 12pm, at the George H. Wimberg Funeral Home, 1707 New Rd., Linwood.
