Paul Weaver Obituary



WEAVER, PAUL I., 77 - of Vineland, former Vineland Municipal Electric Utility Worker, died with his loving family and his lady friend Lori Sansoni by his side on Tuesday, June 13, 2006 at Cooper Medical Center, after a brief illness. A life long resident of Vineland, Paul was born in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. He worked for many years for the Pepsi Cola Bottling Company in Vineland before being employed by the The City of Vineland, at the Vineland Municipal Electric Utility. Paul joined the Civil Air Patrol during World War II and loved airplanes and Stock Car racing. He raced at the old Vineland Speedway in the Hobby class from 1955-1957. His love for racing carried over to his children. He dedicated many years in supporting both Paul Jr. and Wayne in their racing endeavors. Paul loved spending Sundays watching his favorite football team, the NY Jets with his grandsons. He enjoyed playing cards with his sons and buddies from the VFW hall. Paul was predeceased in death by his loving wife Rita (Ciccio) Weaver of 50 years and his brother Milton (Reds) Weaver. He is survived by seven loving children, Sherry Cestaro and her husband Charles, Paul Weaver Jr. and his wife Antionette, Joann Hubschmidt and her husband George, Joan DiNunzio and her husband Larry, Wayne Weaver and his wife Greta, Todd Weaver and his wife Darlene, Kim Dilazzero and her husband Jeff; thirteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday at 10am at St. Mary's Church, Rosenhayn. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Rosenhayn. Friends will be received on Friday from 7pm to 9pm and again on Saturday morning from 8am to 9:15am at the DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 1019 E Landis Ave., Vineland.
