Philip James "Chip" McCaffrey

McCaffrey, Philip James "Chip", - 71, of Egg Harbor Township, passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on Tuesday, September 13, 2022. Born May 5, 1951 in Darby, PA he was originally from Springfield, Delaware County. Philip was a graduate of St. Dorothy's Grammar School, Cardinal O'Hara High School, and Widener University. He was co-owner of Grace Realty in Ocean City, NJ, for over 45 years and was recognized with the Realtor Emeritus Award. Philip is survived by his wife of 46 years, Patricia (nee Atkinson), his son Philip McCaffrey Jr. (Casey), his daughter Kelly McCaffrey Keeley (James), his sister Susan McCaffrey Hermansen (Roy); five grandchildren: Madison and John Keeley, and Olivia, Philip, and Katharine McCaffrey, and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his son, Scott McCaffrey, his father, Philip McCaffrey, mother Elizabeth Maher and Ignatius Maher. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the: Father Bill Atkinson, O.S.A, Servant of God, Fund, Augustinian Provincial Office, 214 Ashwood Road, Villanova, PA 19085. A visitation will be held Friday, September 23rd from 9:30-11:00am, followed by an 11:00am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Augustine's Church, 13th & Wesley Avenues, Ocean City, NJ.
