What a guy! Richard had such gusto and exuberance and goodwill toward all. His appreciation of life and his fellow humans knew no bounds. We went to school together in Margate and ACHS and Temple, but I did not really know him until we became telephone buddies much later in life. We talked about everything and everyone, albeit in a nice way. His understanding of people and life was helpful to me, and I learned a lot from those calls. We shared a great love and appreciation of our Jewish heritage and Margate--the best place to grow up--and the wonderful people who influenced us in our early years. I miss him more than words can say say.
He made me laugh unto tears.
Richard, your red hair, your fiery eyes, your keen wit and kind heart ... I'm so glad God made you. Rest well wherever you are. You are remembered here with much love and affection always.

Saddened to read about the passing of a fellow member of the ACHS class of 1964. May Richie's memory be a blessing.
