Ricki Heuman, 70, of Egg Harbor Township, passed away suddenly on October 5, 2024.
Ricki was a beloved husband, father, proud grandfather (affectionately known as GP), brother, and friend. He founded and owned Ricki Heuman Construction for over 40 years, where he worked alongside his brothers, employing many in the community and building lasting relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
Ricki and his loving wife of 45 years, Sandy, spent their lives together as true partners, creating countless memories, sharing adventures, and enjoying each other's company. Their bond was a testament to enduring love and unwavering support.
An enthusiastic cook, Ricki enjoyed hosting gatherings for family and friends, delighting everyone with his famous "Cheesy Noodles." He cherished spending time with his family, often indulging in his passions for boating, fishing, and enjoying an "occasional" Budweiser. A master of word games and a great storyteller, he had a gift for bringing joy to those around him.
Predeceased by his father Franklin and mother Heidi. He is survived by Sandy; his sons Lucas (Katherine) and Rick (Nina); and his beloved grandchildren Josh, Jon, Paulie, Angelina, Julia, Robert, Ava, Lucas, Josi, and Scarlett. He is also survived by his siblings David (Leanne), Glen (Donna), Teresa, Kevin (Maria), Heidi (Dan), Kim, and Mike (Jeanne). Jackie Hudson (Neil) Tyler.
Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia Childlife.
Ricki will be greatly missed by his family and many friends, leaving behind a legacy of love, joy, and cherished memories.

Rick and his brother Kevin were always two of my favorite hockey parents during our son´s years with the AC Sharks.
A particular fond memory is a great trip to Lake Placid where our kids won a gold medal and we celebrated with a bottle of vodka that evening.
Our sincere condolences to Sandy and all the family. Rick was bigger than life and will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to cross his path.

Our deepest and heartfelt condolences to the Heuman family. Our sons grew up together and we spent many an hour on hockey courts and ice rinks cheering them on. May Ricki's soul rest easy as those who love him are left behind to miss him forever.

Oh, I'm so sorry to hear this.....he really was such a wonderful guy. Always enjoyed his company when my husband and I would see him! Will never be able to listen to Santa Baby by Eartha Kitt (and ONLY Eartha Kitt!!) without thinking of him.... My thoughts and prayers to all the family.
