Robert Gill Obituary
GILL SR., ROBERT W. 68 - of South Egg Harbor, passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2009. He was born in Atlantic City and raised in West Atlantic City. Robert graduated from Atlantic City High School. He was a lifetime member of West Atlantic City Fire Company. Robert formerly worked at Egg Harbor City Boat Company, Galloway Township Public Works, Ocean Yacht 2, and lastly at Tropicana Hotel and Casino Carpenters Union Local #623. He is predeceased by his father, William Oscar Gill II; his brother, John Dennis Gill; and his mother-in-law, June Nardozza. Robert is survived by his loving wife, Dina Gill (Nardozza); his son, Robert W. Gill, Jr, and his wife Amy and their children, Elaina and Jason of South Egg Harbor; his son, Daniel T. Gill and his wife Dawn and their children, Kayla, Aurora, and Bella of Germania; and his daughter, Barbara J. Gill-Skierski and her husband Christian and their children Nicholas, Ava, and Megan of South Egg Harbor; his mother, Maree C. Gill of Linwood; his brother, William Oscar Gill III (Diana) of Galloway; his sister, Suzett Marie Gill of Galloway; his father-in-law, Daniel Nardozza; his brother-in-law, Thomas Nardozza, Sr, (Vivian) of South Egg Harbor; his sister-in-law, Barbara Zinno (Phillip) of Hammonton; and a host of nieces and nephews. He will be missed by all who knew him. Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2009 at Wimberg Funeral Home, 400 Liverpool Avenue, Egg Harbor City, NJ from 9:00am until 12:00pm. A service will immediately follow at 12:00pm. Arrangements have been entrusted to Wimberg Funeral Home, 400 Liverpool Avenue, Egg Harbor City, NJ 609-965-0357. Dear Dina and family;
We were so sorry to hear about the passing of Bobby. We had just arrived in Florida for an visit with Diana and Bill. You were in our thoughts now and forever.
I can still remember seating next to Bobby at Billy and Carrie's wedding and how I got him to laugh.
You do have all of the memories of the days you had together and the comfort of your children and grandchildren.

Aunt Dina, Rob, Dan & BJ,
My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I will always remember Uncle Bobby just laughing and shaking his head at all of us when doing our "Gong Shows" & "Slash Dances". He would only come out of his shell when that damn Sheep/Lamb would come out. I will miss him very much but remember him always.

I knew Bobby around 1960 and '61. He had a very unique car and always visited the local 'teen haunts with Billy Taylor.
