1952 - 2022

Steiger, Robert J., Jr., - 70, of Egg Harbor Township, passed away at home surrounded by his family on November 7, 2022. Robert was born on August 19, 1952 and was raised in Wildwood Crest, NJ. Robert met the love of his life, Kathy (Catalano) and spent many happy years on the water, enjoying life together. Robert founded ARKK Builders, a business name encompassing his number one pride and joy, his family. ARKK Builders successfully operated and expanded for over forty years in the tri-state area focusing on forensic construction, building remediation and custom homes. While Robert took pride in his business, his family was his life. Time spent cooking Sunday dinners, with his grandchildren doing yard work or at sports and making every holiday incredible for his family, Robert was the epitome of a true family man. Later in life, Robert took up Ballroom Dancing, traveling to many prestigious events winning numerous championships, competing until a few years before his death. Robert lived his life to the fullest with an energy and excitement that made everything he did a moment to remember. He was always on the go with new experiences and an attention to detail that was unmatched. Robert is predeceased by his parents, Robert J. Steiger Sr. and Isabella Steiger (Pittaluga) and his sister Patricia Dougherty. Robert is survived by his wife and soul mate Kathleen, daughters Kristen Schultz (Dave) and Amanda Leese (Chris) and five incredible grandchildren, Mia, David, Dominic, Isabella and Charley. Robert is also survived by his eight brothers, John, Charles, Edward (Kevin), Michael (Carol), William (Andrea), Joseph, James and Eric. He was also dearly loved by his numerous nieces, nephews and friends all who will miss his energy and love. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held November 14 2022 at 11am at Our Lady of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church in Linwood, NJ. The viewing will be prior to mass beginning at 9:30 am.
