Russell James Joseph Batdorf

Russell James Joseph Batdorf, 75, of Egg Harbor Township, N.J., passed away peacefully on August 14, 2025, with his family by his side. Born in Lebanon, Pa., Russell was the devoted son of Genevieve and the late Franklin Batdorf. A graduate of Lebanon Catholic High School and Goldey-Beacom College, he became a Certified Public Accountant and built a distinguished career, serving as CFO of Radwell International for over 16 years. To his colleagues, Russell was not only a leader but also a mentor, counselor, and trusted friend. A man of deep faith and service, Russell was a member of the Church of St. Katharine Drexel, the St. Vincent de Paul Society, and a longtime volunteer at Cancer Support Community NJ at Gilda's Club. An Eagle Scout, athlete, traveler, and adventurer, he lived life to the fullest, but his greatest devotion was always to his family. Russell is survived by his loving wife Adrienne; mother, Genevieve; children, Ryan, Erin (Jesse), Jonathan (Kim), and Adam ; brothers, Tom (Sue), Ed (Beth), and John (Bonnie); and his cherished grandchildren, Jamie, Paige, Jack, Alyssa and Izzy. He was preceded in death by his father, Franklin Batdorf. A viewing will be held on Thursday, August 21, from 5 to 7p.m., at the George H. Wimberg Funeral Home, 1707 New Rd., Linwood. On Friday, August 22, a viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., followed by Mass at 11 a.m. at St. Katharine Drexel, 6075 W Jersey Ave, EHT.
