Sallie was quite a special lady. I worked with her for many years, she was a thoughtful and caring person, who was often the voice of reason during any conversation. Her family and the greater world have lost a very bright star.

Knowing Sallie A Self-Stewart was not only a blessing but a privilege. As a member of Salem, Sallie was so committed to God, very generous, very loving and very excited with her 8:30 AM service she loved to attend. She lived by example. Her smile was contagious and it came straight from the heart. She was never fake in all what she did. If she does not like something, she will tell you point black. Sallie will be missed not only by me and my family but the whole Salem members. Rest in Peace Sallie. Your kingdom has come. Enjoy it.
