Sharon Segal

Sharon D. Segal formerly of Ventnor passed away 12/17/24 at age 73. Sharon was Bat Mitzvahed at Beth Judah. She was a member of SAGS Sorority, graduated ACHS 1969, and earned a BA from Ithaca College. She was the daughter of Ventnor Councilman Mike Segal and Natalie (Youtie) Segal. Since the 1970s she lived in the San Francisco Bay Area, where she managed Marin Optometry. Sharon is survived by her brother Stuart; sisters-in-law Rashmika Segal and Kathy (Huddy) Simon; nephew and niece Stephen and Samantha Segal; aunt, Barbara Youtie; cousins David and Michael Goloff; many cousins around the world, and by many dear friends in California and elsewhere. Donations in Sharon's memory may be made to "10,000 Degrees" in Marin County, CA, a charity Sharon donated so much time and effort to over the years. A celebration of Sharon's life will be held in the California later this year.
