Thomas Rucci Obituary

RUCCI, THOMAS EDWARD 58 - of Town Bank, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday at University of Pennsylvania Hospital. Born in Philadelphia, he was an area resident here for the past 21 years. He previously resided in the Fishtown Section of Philadelphia. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He worked as a meat cutter for 30 years, most recently in the North Cape May Acme Market. He was a member of the V.V.A. Chapter #602 of Erma. Surviving are his wife, Hope; four children, Lisa Bland (John), Dawn Brady (Brian), Stacy Rucci and Thomas E. Rucci, Jr. (Christa); brothers Charles Kirby and G. Wayne Rucci; a sister, Dorthea Louise Daly; 11 grandchildren, John, Andrew, Patty, Kierston, Jessica, Jacquelyn, Samantha, Makenzie, Thomas III, Anthony and Gianna. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2009, at 12 noon at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd., N. Cape May, NJ, where friends may call from 10:00am. Burial will be at a later date at Cape May Co. Veterans Cemetery. Donations in his memory may be sent to: Love of Linda Cancer Fund, PO Box 1053, Wildwood, NJ. 08260
